Venetian Blinds in Acocks Green
Venetians are slim, light aluminium slats that tilt with a little wand. They are brilliant for steering the light exactly where you want it, and they are a doddle to clean. They are perfect for those smaller windows in kitchens, bathrooms and cloakrooms that never seem to get much attention.
Where venetian blinds shine in Acocks Green
Lots of B27 homes have a narrow window over the sink or a frosted bathroom pane. A venetian fits snugly in a shallow recess and is happy in steam. If you work from home in Olton or Yardley, a venetian is great for cutting screen glare without making the room dark. Perfect fit versions clip into uPVC with no drilling.
No bundle on venetians, but the measure and quote are free. If you book online and are not using one of our offers, BN-14 knocks 14% off. There are loads of colours, from plain whites to shiny metallics. Fancy something warmer? Have a look at faux wood while we are there.
Slat sizes vary. Thin 25mm slats look neat in small windows, wider ones give a clearer view. A wand tilts the slats; cords come with safety fittings. Cleaning is close, wipe, flip, wipe.
Venetians are brilliant in a downstairs loo that gets used by visitors, because you can tilt them for privacy and still have daylight. Perforated slats even let a gentle glow through when closed.
They are also one of the most budget-friendly options we have, so they are handy for finishing off the smaller windows in a house.
