Faux Wood Blinds in Acocks Green

£2993 faux wood blinds fitted

Each blind up to 1 metre wide × 1 metre drop.

Faux wood blinds give a room that cosy, natural feel of chunky wooden slats, but they are fine with steam and splashes, so you can have them in the kitchen and bathroom too. The slats tilt to let in as much light as you fancy and pull right up out of the way when you want them gone.

Where faux wood blinds shine in Acocks Green

You can see a lovely dark-slatted example in the photograph on this page. Across B27, we fit them a lot in Hall Green bay windows and in Acocks Green kitchen extensions, where they help join old and new parts of the house together. Colourful tapes can hide the cord holes and add a bit of fun, and the choice runs from bright whites to warm oaks and deep browns.

Our faux wood deal is three blinds fitted for £299. Each blind can be up to 1 metre wide × 1 metre drop, and we will show you the finishes included at your free measure. It does not go with BN-14. Bigger windows get a separate quote; a very wide faux wood blind can be heavy to lift, so we might suggest splitting it, or real wood, which is lighter.

A few handy things to know. Faux wood is heavier than aluminium, so a very wide window might get two blinds that line up like one. When pulled up, the slats sit in a stack at the top, and we will show you how much window that covers. A wand tilt means one cord fewer for little hands.

Cleaning is quick: close the slats, give them a wipe, flip them and wipe again. Faux wood is also tough enough to cope with the odd knock from a football.

Good questions

Are big faux wood blinds hard to pull up?

Wide faux wood blinds can be weighty. We check the size at the measure and will suggest splitting it or using real wood if that is easier.

Will faux wood cope with family life?

It is tough stuff: fine with steam, sticky fingers and the odd knock. A wipe with a damp cloth keeps it looking smart.

Can you fit slats to each part of my bay?

Yes. Each section gets its own blind, measured so the slats line up and the headrails meet neatly.
